This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in operating a brand-new English community from the ground up.
You will work with real users, real events, and real content while actively using English in both online and offline settings.

■ About Cafe Eikaiwa & Fanz

Cafe Eikaiwa is an English conversation service held at over 100 cafes nationwide in Japan, with more than 24,000 participants every year.

Cafe Eikaiwa “Fanz” is a newly launching community service that connects English learners through online activities, offline events, workshops, and shared learning experiences.

■ Position
Community Manager – Cafe Eikaiwa “Fanz”
(English Speaker / English–Japanese Bilingual)

■ Main Responsibilities
- Support the operation of the online community
- Assist with planning and managing events
- Respond to member messages and handle simple administrative tasks
- Propose improvements and new ideas for the community
- Facilitate online and offline English meetups
- Support practical English workshops
- Assist seminars (TOEIC / IELTS / Study Abroad)
- Provide light English coaching
- Support English-based sports and wellness events (golf, tennis, walking, etc.)
- Support SNS content creation and planning (Instagram / X / YouTube)

■ Work Type

Part time contractor

■ Working Style & Schedule

- Office work is welcome but not mandatory. Remote work is also available.
- Office work (if applicable) will be scheduled on weekdays or Saturdays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- Your office schedule can be flexibly adjusted to match your availability
- Online work and remote support are always possible
- The official community launch is scheduled for late January 2026, and the workload is expected to increase after the launch
- Work volume on weekdays is expected to be relatively light during December 2025 and January 2026

■ Requirements (Must)

- English speaker
- Able to communicate in Japanese (daily conversation level)
- Available to work at least once per week
- Enjoy interacting with people and building a community
- Responsible, reliable, and proactive

■ Preferred Skills

- Experience using Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Experience using Canva (design experience is a plus)
- Experience using ChatGPT
- Those who want to be involved in launching a new service
- Those who are interested in working with people and community building

■ Compensation

¥1,500 per hour
Transportation expenses covered for office work

Offline: Tokyo (Ebisu area)
Online: Work from anywhere
