ダイアローグ
Ken: What do you think you are good at?
ケン: 「得意な事って何かある？」

Yoko: Well, when I was a student, I practiced Sado, Japanese tea ceremony, so I think I am good at putting on Kimono and making tea.
Even now, I often go to schools that I graduated from and teach students Sado.
ヨウコ:「そうね。私は茶道を学生の時にずっとやっていたから、着付けとか茶道が得意かしら。
今でも母校の中学生や高校生の茶道部に教えに行ったりする事もあるわよ。」

Ken: That’s awesome! It sounds great that you can even teach it.
ケン:「え！それはすごいね！誰かに教えられるぐらいってすごいな。」

Yoko: Thank you. I started studying harder after I had decided to teach Sado to others. Students who make their efforts to prepare for lessons in advance make me motivated and it's more like I'm learning with them than teaching them.
ヨウコ:「そんな事ないわよ。私も教えなきゃってなってからの方が沢山勉強したし。一生懸命次のレッスンまでに準備して勉強してくる教え子がいると、私も頑張らなきゃって一緒に勉強している感じよ。」

Misa: You are great, Yoko. Your story encourages me to try new things. I know I need to study English harder, and I really want something that I can be proud of.
Well, how about you Ken? What do you think you are good at?
ミサ:「ヨウコさんすごいですね！私も何か頑張りたくなってきちゃったなー。英語だってまだまだだし、私の特技はこれです。って言えるもの。身に付けたいなー。ケンさんは何が得意なんですか？」

Ken: Let me think… I want to try something new, but I guess I am good at football for now. When I was a student, I often played football.
I still remember the time when I was studying in the UK, I made a lot of friends through playing football then.
I had no friends at the beginning, so I often went to the park and asked people to play football together. It was really fun. I realized that even though I was not good at English, I could make friends. I miss my exciting days in the UK.
ケン:「そうだねー。僕も何か新しい事をやってみたいとは考えてるんだけど、今のところ得意なのはサッカーかなぁ。学生の頃に頑張っていたんだよね。
イギリスに留学してた事があるんだけど、留学時代もサッカーを通して友達作りをしたんだ。留学当初は向こうに友達がいなかったから、公園に出かけて行って、草サッカーしている人たちに声をかけて混ぜてもらったりして。楽しかったなー。言葉が上手くなくてもサッカーを通して友達ができるんだ☆ってワクワクしたのが懐かしいよ。」

Misa: Sounds great! It looks like your hobbies such as football and Sado can improve your English skills as well. I used to play the piano so I am thinking about doing it again.
ミサ:「へー、いいですね！サッカーや茶道、趣味を通しても英語の上達につなげたりもできそうですね。私は昔ピアノを少しやっていたから、また始めてみようかなー。」
